GOT A QUESTION??
Maybe We Can Help?
Here are some of the frequently asked questions that we get. Hopefully, they can answer yours.
Q: Who can submit to the festival?
Short answer: Anyone can. Long answer: We do not judge or discriminate against anyone who wants to be a part of the festival.
Q: Do we have to pay to attend/submit to the festival?
A: Online, no. Inperson: £5.
Q: Is there an age restriction on this festival?
A: No. We do encourage partenal guidance as some films may have adult themes
Q: I live in a different country from where the festival is. Can I submit my film?
A: Of course you can. We will happily accept your submission, whether you are our next-door neighbour or halfway across the planet.
Q: My film has already been submitted to other film festivals. Can I still offer it to the festival?
A: Yes, you can. We will still accept the submission, regardless of its history in the film circuit.
Q: What is the dress code for the festival??
A: For the physical event and the online award ceremony, it is smart/smart casual/evening wear. So dress to impress. For the online Q+As, it is casual wear.
Q: Are there any COVID-19 restrictions that the film festival is implementing?
A: The festival is not implementing any restrictions regarding COVID-19.
However, if you are feeling unwell from any health-related issue, we ask that you don't come to the festival in person if you do have a ticket, but please do enjoy it online.
Q: Are we allowed to take pictures/screenshots of the festival??
A: Absolutely, take as many as you like. We ask that you don't take any form of recordings of the films being showcased, as it could open you up to copyright claims.
We will have photographers at the physical event taking pictures as well. So if you wish to attend the physical festival and do not want to have your picture taken, please contact us, and we will take measures to make sure that does not happen.
If you still have a burning question, please speak to us via social media or email.
